COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Western Neon School of Art requires all students, teachers, and staff to provide proof of vaccination while on premises.

Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy

Western Neon School of Art admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.

Minimum Age Requirement Policy

Western Neon School of Art accepts students who are at least 18 years old.

Safety Policy

The Administration Team of Western Neon School of Art is committed to providing a safe and healthful classroom environment for all staff members and students that may work, visit, or enter our grounds, facilities and classrooms. It is the policy of Western Neon School of Art to manage and conduct our school in a manner that offers maximum protection to each staff member and any other student that may be affected by our operations.

This school is responsible and will make every effort to comply with all safety and health regulations established by federal, state, and other local regulatory agencies. Western Neon School of Art will make every effort to provide a classroom environment that is free from any recognizable or potential hazards.

Western Neon School of Art recognizes that the success of our safety and health program is contingent and dependent upon support from the Administration Team as well as involvement of all staff members and cooperation from students of Western Neon School of Art.

Cancellation, Refund, and Missed Class Policy

Cancellations will be granted a full refund within thirty days of registering for a class or workshop. If registration occurs less than thirty days before the start of a class or workshop and the student must cancel, refunds will only be granted up until one week prior to the start of the class or workshop in order to allow time to fill the spot. Any cancellation made after the thirty day deadline or after the start of class is not entitled to a refund.

No refunds or reschedules are available for any missed class, workshop or studio day. Students may not transfer to another class or offer their spot to another person for any reason.

We reserve the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case your payment will be fully refunded.

Western Neon School of Art will operate on schedule except in the event of a closure in accordance with Seattle Public Schools service interruptions. We cannot issue a refund for missed classes, studios, workshops or special events due to inclement weather, acts of God, or unforeseen or unsafe conditions for our staff or students.

Studio Attire Policy

Eye protection is required at all times while in the studio. Appropriate attire must be worn – no open toed shoes or flammable clothing are allowed in the WNSA studio space. Long hair must be tied back when working in the WNSA studio space.  

Be mindful of your personal limitations and do not attempt any actions of maneuvers that put yourself or other students at risk for harm.

Harrassment Policy

WNSA reserves the right to dismiss and evict anyone whose behavior is considered disruptive, dangerous, unacceptable or harassing to WNSA administration, staff, visitors, or students. If any student is asked to leave any class, studio, workshop or event, they will not be eligible for a refund.
